Varment Guard
Authorized BirdShades Installer

BirdShades Sicherheitsglas GmbH (BirdShades)

BirdShades makes an invisible bird protection window film. Its UV pattern is visible to birds but clear to people, so it prevents bird-window collisions without changing how a building looks. Varment Guard is one of only a few BirdShades installers in the US.

About BirdShades Sicherheitsglas GmbH (BirdShades)

A legacy of professional bird control since 2020s

BirdShades is an Austrian company focused on solving bird-window collisions. Window strikes are now the second-largest human-caused threat to birds worldwide.

The company puts a lot of money into research and works with scientists to build research-based testing standards for bird-safe glass products.

BirdShades film is installed on clinics, universities, commercial buildings, and wildlife facilities across Europe. It is now available in the United States through a small network of installers, including Varment Guard.
