Nixalite of America Inc. was founded in East Moline, Illinois in 1950 and is the original inventor of the stainless-steel bird spike. The Nixalite Model S bird spike remains the industry benchmark for durability — a 100% Type 302 stainless-steel spike strip guaranteed for the life of the structure it protects.

For more than 70 years Nixalite has manufactured a full range of professional bird and pest control products including bird spikes, exclusion netting, electric shock track, structural hardware, and specialty deterrents. Nixalite products are installed on landmarks including the U.S. Capitol, the Statue of Liberty, Grand Central Terminal, and thousands of bridges, refineries, food plants, and power-generation facilities.

Nixalite maintains a professional installer program for pest, bird, and wildlife control companies.
